The best innovations of 2005

MIT Technology Review has just launched the call for its awards to the 35 best young innovators of the year 2005.

All candidates must be under the age of 35 and Technology Review invites researchers and scientists to submit their nominations during this month. Candidates must work in any field related to new technologies such as:

  • computing,
  • biotechnology,
  • nanotechnology,
  • Energy,
  • medicine,
  • telecommunications and
  • transportation.

All candidates must be under 35 years of age by October 2005. Winners will participate in an awards ceremony during the Emerging Technologies Conference in September this year, and their achievements and profile will be published in a special edition of Technology Review in October.

The deadline for submitting candidatures is April 30, 2005. The submission of candidates is done through the Internet. The form can be found here.
